Benjamin Dyck, CPA
Benjamin is a Chartered Professional Accountant who has been operating in the Lakeland for over 10 years. With his passion for innovation and mathematics, Ben began his working career in the oil and gas industry with a Chemical Engineering Technical Diploma in 1995. In 2003, his keen interest in problem solving and taxation started him down a career transition into the exciting field of accounting. Ben achieved an Honours Bachelor of Commerce, with his Certified General Accountant Designation soon to follow. In 2006, he became a partner in a public accounting practice in Cold Lake, Alberta and has continued to establish himself as an accountant that cares in the Lakeland area.
Ben has always challenged himself to provide accounting services with accuracy and integrity. He genuinely cares about his clients and their financial success and this is demonstrated in his work ethic. Setting a strong leadership example, Ben fosters an environment of teamwork and community. Ben strives to be a better accountant by continually learning and expanding his knowledge base so that he can serve his clients and staff to the best of his ability. As a result of his efforts, Benjamin Dyck CPA has been nominated for the Business of the Year Award in 2014 and again in 2016.
Away from the office, Ben enjoys a good round of golf and spending time with his wife and three children. He is an avid reader, local community supporter and loves to participate in the Quiz Night fundraiser at Holy Cross Elementary School. His unique ability to retain quirky facts and detailed information, enables Benjamin to converse on a myriad of topics.

Catherine Bissonnette, Senior Accounting Technician
Catherine joined the firm in August of 2010 and has a total of 14 years of experience in finance. She brings with her a wealth of education and training. Catherine has previous experience in running her own home businesses and owned a local retail business with her late husband; as well as serving on various boards. She loves her grandchildren, learning and keeping herself busy.
Sonya Reardon, Personal Tax Specialist
Sonya received her Accounting Diploma from the University College of Cape Breton, and has spent 9 years working in the field. She joined Benjamin Dyck in February of 2014. Sonya's free time is spent at the hockey arena with her 2 boys.
Dawn Perepelitza, Senior Bookkeeper
Dawn has been working in accounting for more than six years and joined the firm
in February of 2013. She has her Accounting Assistant Certificate from Okanagan
College University, a Business Administration Accounting Diploma and is currently
working towards her Degree. Dawn enjoys using her problem solving skills to help
clients with their bookkeeping challenges, and loves teaching and training with
QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop ProAdvisor certified.
Caitlyn received her certificate for Accounting Technician through Portage in 2016 and did her practicum at Benjamin Dyck in May of that same year. She has been working here since October 2016. Born and raised in the area, She enjoys spending time at home with her dog and cat, spending quality time with family and friends, and crafting.
Nena joined the staff in February of 2016, bringing with her seven years experience managing a wellness centre. Her many years working in medical technology have given her a great deal of experience in working with all kinds of people. Although retired from her hockey mom duties, Nena continues to stay involved with local dance. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, quilting and reading.
